My DENNIS Quaker line:
Rachel DENNIS b.Oct 1720 Haddonfield, Gloucester Co., NJ; d.18 Aug 1823 OH (sometimes reported as Georgia); m.1739 Haddonfield to Joseph MADDOCK. They went in 1755 to North Carolina as part of the Quaker movement South and then on to Wrightsborough, Georgia. Joseph MADDOCK and Jonathan SELLS established the Wrightsborough Quaker settlement. Joseph MADDOCK died 1793 in Savannah, GA and Rachel removed to Belmont Co. Ohio with her children about 1805-1806. She was the daughter of:

Samuel DENNIS b.5 Jan 1680 West Meath, Ireland; d.(unk); m.14 Mar 1710/11 Haddonfield, Gloucester Co., NJ to Ruth TINDALL. He was the son of:

Thomas DENNIS b.1650 West Meath, Ireland; d.6 Apr 1720 or 1721 Newton Twp., Gloucester Co., NJ; m.6 July 1681 Edinberry, Offaly, Ireland Jane TATNALL.
