I am looking for information on my great x 3 grandmother whose name was Dorothy Jane Yearout also called “Dartha”. She married my great x 3 grandfather James C. Young in 1841 in Blount County, TN and I have found them in the 1850 census in Blount County with their children. The information I am looking for is who Dorothy’s parents were or any of her siblings and where they came from. I believe she was born around 1820 but I’m not sure where she was born – it could have been Blount County or somewhere else in Tennessee or perhaps Virginia? – do not know for sure.
