No. However, I have found additional evidence that Malcolm is somehow connected to Nancy, Hector, John, Margaret, and perhaps another sibling Daniel. There was a court case in Yancey Co in 1856 that a Cox was the administrator of Malcolm's estate and had to file suit against Nancy, Hector, John, Margaret, and Daniel in order to sell some land to pay estate debts.
I also have found that Malcolm signed a petition along with Hector and John to stop the execution of Frankie Silver.
It appears that the Cox and McNeill families were interconnected, but I don't have enough concrete evidence to prove how. My suspicion is still the David Cox that married Nancy McNeill was the son of Mary Cox of the will mentioned in my first post. Would appreciate any assistance I can get.
Thank you.
