I realize your post is from 2009. Hoping you are still a member. James Bartlett Robbins is also my Great Great Grandfather his son Franklin Zed was the dad of my grandfather Walter Pershing Robbins. My name is Marty McGuinn. There is a Robbins cemetery in Caldwell county in the Buffalo Cove community. There is also some Robbins Buried at Buffalo Cove Baptist Church. There is a third cemetery on an old logging road in the area. Its hard to tell which county its in but im guessing Watauga Co. Wilkes Watauga and Caldwell all meet there in the mountains. I have not been able to find James Bartlett Robbins grave but im afraid it may be in the older cemetery and most if not all but one or two graves there are only marked by field stones with no markings. If you have any more information I would be willing to share. I can tell you that James Bartlett Robbins was a Confederate soldier serving in the 58th NC infantry.
