I am looking for other researchers who are searching for the same families as I am. My g-grandparents were Charles L. McNeill (or McNeil or McNeal) (1886-1970) and Della Grindstaff (1893-1979). Della and Charles married in 1911 in Mitchell Co. Charles is the son of Robert McNeill and Margaret Ledford. I am told that Robert and Margaret lived in the Bandana area of Mitchell Co. I am working from an old pedigree chart that was prepared by Charles McNeill. It shows that Robert was the son of Archibald McNeill and Jane Howell and Margaret was the daughter of Noah Ledford and Clarissa Grindstaff.

Della Grindstaff is the daughter of Isaac Grindstaff and Mary Woody, who lived in the Bakersville area. This chart shows Isaac as the son of Henry Grindstaff and Beedie Buchanan and Mary as the daughter of William Woody and Margie Thomas. I believe that William Woody died of disease in 1862 in Ashland, VA while serving in the Civil War.

Is anyone else connected to the above individuals? I am willing to share what information I have.
