My grandmother's sister married a Luton from Hertford County. His name was Herbert Luton. I believe he was from the Ahoskie area. I know that my grandmother's family was from Bertie and that's where he met my grandmother's sister. Powellsville is where they lived and there are a few of them still living in Powellsville if I'm not mistaken.
