I'm trying to find information on a Wiley WARD. The following
is my dead end:
Robert W. Ward born 1804 in VA, died 1843 LA, tomb stone
states Son of Wiley.
Elizabeth Westmoreland Ward born 1800 GA, died 1844 LA,
tomb stone states Wife of Robert.
they had one son, Robert Harrison Ward born 1838 Alabama.
I located a Wiley Ward & a Joseph Westmoreland in the 1830
census in Montgomery,Ala(living close together). The census
places Wiley being born between 1775 & 1794. I also found a
Wiley Ward married to a Polly Jordan in VA in 1802. I believe
there must be a connection to the Ward/Wiley union. if you
have any info you can share, please respond.
