I am the great great great great great great grandson of Thomas Gardner and Pryor Gardner was my gggggg uncle. John I or Daniel was my ggggg grandpa , his son was John II , his son was Lewis Gardner, and his youngest son was John Joseph Gardner. I would like to know John Joseph Gardner's occupation. He died in 1899 in Newton County , MS when he was 42 years of age.
