Don't know if this is the one you're looking for, but a Sylvester McDonald (could have been a typo) HILL, son of Henry HILL, died on 21 Dec 1958 in Lexington, Davidson, NC, according to Ancestry.com's NC Death Collection, 1908-1996. If your goal is to take it back another generation this might be the clue you need to do so. I would send for his death certificate from the county (a minimal fee), and see if it is indeed the one you are in need of. I have found that the further back I can go, the better to meet others with a family connection.
