This Douglas was a son of David Copeland and unknown wife. David was a son of Henry and Ann Copeland. (My ancestor is Mark, David's brother).
Douglas Copeland married Margaret "Peggy" Lloyd and had Abner, Lloyd, and Simon Copeland. Lloyd and Simon went to Indiana. Abner stayed in Orange Co NC and had only an adopted son Wesley Forrester.
