In the 1850 Lincoln County, Tennessee, census there is a Nancy who married a Patterson. I have been told her name is Nancy Ortridge but am not sure. Census says she was born in NC. Have no idea where. If she was from NC it is highly possible that the Pattersons were too. Also my Phillips line originally came from NC. If anyone has any info on any of these ancestors I would really appreciate it if you would share it with me.
