JULIA ANN REED was born I believe in Cabarrus (Concord), NC, 1823-25. We do not know the name of her parents, but since the name of her only child was JOHN FLETCHER PACE, we think her father might have been a John Reed or a Fletcher Reed. In 1843 Julia Ann Reed married ABNER PACE in Guilford Co., NC, and they moved to Rowan Co., NC. At one time a CATHERINE REED was living with them, and this was perhaps her mother or a sister.
