I am looking for a Julian Bible held by a TX family. Do you know anything about this?

I can't help wondering why you chose Burke Co. NC to post a query about your Julians. In 1790 there were two Julian families in Burke Co.--my William Julian and a nearby Benjamin Julian (I think they are related). There also may have been a John Julian (though his name is misspelled). If you will contact me privately I can't give you further information on both. bapace2@juno.com

My William Julian went south into SC after 1790 and Brnjamin Julian went to TN. William finally died in Cherokee Co. GA.

1750 - Wm. born about this time or slightly before.

1768 - Rowan Co. --Wm. probably with Peter II on Abbotts Creek (Rowan,
............now .Davidson Co.NC)

1771 - Regu.years, Rowan/Meck.Co. where Wm. proved a deed fm
Morrison>Miller

1784 - John Judon land grant - Burke Co. NC -- no William shown/known

1788 - Burke Co. Wm.purchased land from Abraham Floyd (now Ruth./McDowell
Co.?)
......Crooked Creek of Catawba River (see map)

1790 - Burke Co. census Wm. with Benj. Julian (b.1757, younger than Wm.)--4th Co.
.............Benj. went to White Co. TN--1850 census says b. NC.

1793 - Anderson/Pendleton Co. SC - Wm. bought land of D.Whitchel
Carpenter's Creek .of Saluda River--see deeds at bottom

1795 - Anderson/Pendleton Co. SC - Wm. wit. deed of Peter J. & John on
Peters Crk of Saluda R.--see deeds at bottom

1797 - Anderson/Pendleton Wm. bought land in Pendleton Co. SC (could
later be Pickens or Anderson) .......off the Saluda River, and
near the Cherokee Traders Path.

1800 - Pendleton/Pickens Co. SC - Wm. 45+ years, w/younger Wm. & John

1810 - Pendleton/Pickens Co. SC -Wm. 45+, but there is an John Julen too

1820 - Pendleton/Pickens Co. SC - there is only *Joseph Julen 26-44 yrs
*Joseph Julian appears to be a separate line--spelled Josef

1830 - Anderson/Pendleton Co. SC - no Julen,
1830 - Pickens Co. SC - William Julian (Jr-b.1780-1790)
Wm Julian Sr. probably died between 1840 & 1850, William Jr. after that?

1840 CHEROKEE CO. GA.. He is shown as age 80 to 90 therefore born 1750 to 1760 . Living with him are a male and female 40 to 50 and one female 10 to 15. This is clarified by the 1850 census for the same area of Cherokee. Living there with many of the same neighbors as in 1840 is William Julian, age 66 , with wife Lydia age 54. No children are with them, and apparently William Sr. has died. Important to us is that William Jr. is shown as being born in NC and Lydia in SC. So William Jr, was born in NC in 1796 between the 1790 and 1800 census. The 1860 census for Pickens County GA( which was taken out of Cherokee GA) confirms this although William's age is shown as 73 and Liddy's is 64. Same birth places.

You should post your information (dates, places) in the Julian GenForum. Your posting here is a little vague.
