I just spoke with the Estes DNA project and they gave me permission to post this information. Henry Eastridge of Ashe County NC Y-DNA ( male line) matches as being related to the Estes family of Granville NC.

To date we have not found proof that Henry Eastridge of Ashe NC and Nathan Eastridge of Wilkes NC were in fact brothers or if they are related. If anyone in Nathan's direct male line would like to DNA test please contact the
Estes DNA project at Family Tree DNA so we can prove or disprove if Henry and Nathan were related. I am a descendant of Nathan but I am not a direct male decendant that can DNA test.

Also it is believed that Nathan Eastridge had more than one wife. Elizabeth unk maiden (no marriage) being his 2nd wife. Elizabeth's first child with Nathan being Delphia Eastridge b. 1811. Delphia was born 9 years after sister Mahalea. It is blieved Mary Polly Eastridge b. 1798, Winny Eastridge b. 1800, and Mahalea Eastridge b. 1802 were from Nathan's first unk marriage. Unbroken female lines to these women could DNA test to prove or disprove this theory.
