Thank you so much. On my old map, I could have sworn that the house was near the end of a dead end street. I'm wondering if Google just got it wrong and corrected it with the update.

As I said, that was the house where my mother lived as a baby and where her mother died in 1921. I have a lot of genealogy records on the family, but I'm trying to piece together some of the more personal aspects of their lives after my grandmother died. I will check out the land records to see when it sold. At some point after his wife's death, my grandfather decided he couldn't work and take care of 2 children at the same time and sent the kids to live with my grandmothers sisters. The sale date of the house should help me narrow that down.
