James Lewis Springsteel married Mary Jane Hendrickson. Her first marriage was to William Hutchison abt 1841 and they had 4 children (William Byron, Jasper, Lafayette and Henry). I descend from Henry Hutchison. Mary Jane's 2nd husband was James Springsteel abt 1851 and they had at least 5 children (Theodore, Cassie Ann, Charles, James Jr, and Frank Lincoln). I think you descend from their son Charles but then who? I have a tree in Ancestry, do you? Do you know who the parents of James Springsteel are? I've been looking for a map of Springsteel Island and the Ojibwe burial grounds on that island (it's where Mary Jane is supposed to be buried). Mary Jane is my 3x great grandmother.
