I'm so pleased to find someone with information on David Hall. He and Ruby visited us in New York when I was a kid, and I have been trying to find his background. Uncle Hugh owed DW his start in the construction business. We referred to them as Grandma Ruby and Mister Dave. They visited about 1951, so I don't think he was gone in 1949.
