My family had relatives on Turtle and especially in the Wolf Street area including Doyles and Murphys at 417 Wolf Street. They must have seen and known him well. For all I know they were related.

There were other interesting articles about him between his 100th birthday and his death including a sketch which were all together fascinating and quite a look at a time long ago.
