Hi again Beth...the date of death is correct and she did die in NY.
It states in the will ''that the said deceased was at the time of her death a resident of the county of NY and departed this life in said county on the 16th day of july, 1924''. However what is confusing me is that there is no county of NY now. So how am i able to research further and obtain further documents on the will if there is no NY County offices to contact regarding the will.. for copies etc. Very confusing
