It seems possible Fanny Bova was born in either NY or Quebec, likewise baptized in either. Rivers were more accessible than we picture them, so many people recrossed the border to celebrate family events.

If you post the approximate year of Fanny's birth & her birth order among her siblings' [giving any known names, life dates & even spouses], perhaps you or one of us could search for her & her family in the PRDH or Drouin. [Searching alternate spellings too, such as BEAUVAIS. In some northern NY records I've seen, BOVA has turned out to be BOYEA, BOYE or BOYER, so those spellings might be considered also.]
