In the 116 birth, it shows a Jacob Bechtel and Maria New, I have a Jacob Pickel and Mary new in my line - I don't see how they can't be the same. Do you think the priests in the Claverack might have used a Dutch or German spelling in their records as opposed to the anglisized version?

I received a marriage notice on the ancestry board for a Johannes Pictel and a Catharine Rosamond from the Linlithgoe Reformed Church In Columbia County in 1793 which I think is probably my John Pickel and Catharine Rossman.

Did you have the book for the info our is there a web site. How about the Linlithgoe Church?
