Dee: Thank you so very much for your input.

If you have easy access to this database, would you be amenable to forwarding any information on the Thompsons of Brimfield, which you may run across, and if convenient? I am a direct descendant of that family of Thompsons and am eager to find others who are as well.

One last nut to crack would be the SMITHS of Brimfield...

The Vital Records for Brimfield to 1850 give the following info, but nothing can be found of the SMITH family in Brimfield, which directly links it to the THOMPSON surname:

"[*Vital Records of Brimfield MA to the Year 1850: "p247 Thompson, Solomon and Polly Smi[torn, Smith, T.C.], July 13, 1786.* [Smith, C.R.]]"

Please feel free to contact me off-message board.

Kindest regards, Al
