McMurray and Valley were the same company, just at different times. They were located on Rowland Avenue south of the old Shawmut Railroad tracks.

Forness pond and the Forness little league ball fields are all the area that was once part of the brick plants.

The McMurray home is now used as the Spink Funeral Home.
