Seeking the parents of George A Gordon, b 1847 and d 17 Apr 1926 in or near Wellsville, Allegany County, New York. He served in the 1st NY Dragoons during the Civil War. He married Ella M. (m.n. unknown), b 1854 and d 23 Oct 1926. George and Ella are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Allegany County.

I am thinking that George could be a son of George B. Gordon (1827-1896) and a grandson of Groves Gordon (1795-1850), who are also buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, but I don't have any proof.
