on the green bar across the top you will find "projects" and when you click on that you get a list of some of their resources - one of which, at the bottom, is information from the West Troy Advocate Newspaper for the years 1837 - 1860. It is searchable. Too bad they don't continue on a few more years - you might have been able to find other information you are looking for.

You also might want to take a closer look at the site because Hiram Hutchinson said on both the 1855 and 1865 census records that he was born in Rensselaer County. there might be other family there.
