I do not agree that George Frederick Snover and Elizabeth Catherine Dilts are the parents of the Margaret Snover who married Benajah Gustin.
I think her parents were George Johan Snover son of Johannes Heinrich "Henry" Snover and Anna Maria Hilbartin dau of immigrant Adam Hilpot.
The mother Elizabeth remains Last Name Unknown; however due to mitochrondial inheritance (maternal), she is responsible for the Macular Optical Degeneration--blindness-that curses her descendents. Since this is inherited through the mother, Elizabeth LNU gave it to Margaret Snover, who passed it to her children including Marcella Gustin, then her dau Lydia Wilson, then my mother Evelyn Louise Wilson Monroe. Now my twin sister and I take special vitamins to try and delay it. Between us we had 5 sons, so even though they are at risk for it, their children will not carry it on.
