I descend from Judith Lummis (b. 1766), a daughter of Jonathan and Susannah Lummis. Judith Lummis married Benjamin Burroughs.

Judith was the sister of Hannah Lummis b. ca 1773.

I can't help with Jonathan Lummis' wife Susannah. I have no maiden name for her.

As for Jonathan Lummis, I have Daniel Lummis as his father and Judith Dayton/Dayten as his mother. Daniel Lummis lived in Fairfield, Cumberland Co., NJ. His will was dated 1 June 1764 and was proved 17 March 1769.

About Jonathan Lummis... he died after 5 Feb 1776 -- probably later that year. My notes say his widow Susannah then married #2 John Buck. Susannah and John Buck then had 4 children: Daton Buck, Ephraim Buck, Mary Buck, and Lidiah Buck.
