My mother was a close friend of Fanny Pondelek. Fanny lived with her aunt, Ana Fiertag, in Sewaren, NJ and owned a small grocery store there. My mother and Fanny grew up together and I have inherited a beautiful picture of Fanny and another woman (who may be her sister) that I have scanned.
