I am seeking any information on William Cameron, discharged from a British Regiment in 1766, settled in Kingwood, Hunterdon County New Jersey. Owned a house and barn at the Kingwood Iron Works on Lockatong Creek that was confiscated in the Revolution. William re-enlisted in 1777 and ended up in southern Ontario. He was probably a Protestant and his wife's name could have been Ann Campbell.
