I see you have Horton as one of the names you are interested in. My grandfather Rufus Wiley Horton b1881 in Jersey City was orphaned, and I no next to nothing about the Horton side - not even his father's first name - my Dad says Ralph but his sister says William. Family legend was that he was one of five brothers that came over from England. He married my great grandmother, Mignonette (Nettie) Peacock (from Haywood County, TN) - know nothing about her, but have traced her roots.
