Most likely the same man, with two military assignments in the course of his year in Rhode Island. There was a second Daniel Lary, Rev. War soldier from NH and probably distantly related to the other but, without going back to check my original sources, I believe he was not involved in the RI campaign. If you are doing "Lary" research, please contact me off the board. I have an extensive paper on one of the Lary lines. All the old Lary lines seem to originate from the same emigrant ancestor, but their connections are not well documented. franzm@flash.net
