Reagan, Since posting this message I have done a lot of work on this family - and have connected to William and Joanna. My Seth Towne's (1804-1840) line is :William, Jacob, Jacob, Jabez, Jacob, Daniel. This is a peripheral line for me, not a direct one. Seth married a sister of my GG Grandfather. I do have access to "The Descendants of William Towne" by E E Towne, 1901, if you need a look up.
