"Emma E. Hadell
Emma E. Hadell, wife of Alfred Hadell, died at her home in this city last Sunday after an extended illness of several months of Bright's disease and Tuberculosis.
Miss Emma E. Nye was born at Cambridge, Illinois, April 8, 1864, and was at the time of her death, aged 36 years 7 months, 17 days. She came to Red Cloud about twelve years ago with her mother and three sisters, and was married to Alfred Hadell in 1891. Three children were born to them, May, Alfred and Allen, all of whom survive her.
During the past few months everything has been done that could be done to give relief to her, but all failed, and at several different times her life has been despaired of. The end was not unexpected and came as a great relief to a long and patient sufferer.
The bereaved husband and children have the tender sympathy of the entire community in their hour of affliction.
