An Archibald Tuttle without Almira is living in House 1044 Archibald and Phebe Boyles in the 1 Nov 1850 census of Hancock county, Illinois which was enumerated after their marriage. Where is Almira?? I believe Phebe Boyles could be a Tuttle but no proof. She is 57 years old b Penns.
Archibald Tuttle age 23 (abt 1827) laborer b NY. I have thoughts this was my Archibald as there are several months between the enumerations in Brady,Kalamazoo,Michigan b abt 1830 NY and Illinois and because of the Marriage of Archibald Tuttle and Almira Hopson.

The biography of Archibald Tuttle says he was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The 1910 Census for Preston, Clark County, Washington shows Canada as birth place and b date abt 1823.

In reexamining the birth dates for Archibald Tuttle it is very possible I have been looking a several different ones and so must look this over again. However, the birth in Canada in the 1910 census has me very puzzled.
