I searched for any Maine living in Pierce Co. NE 1910-1920 in Ancestry and FamilySearch but didn't find them.

You can contact your local library and ask them to request Plainview newspapers on microfilm from the Nebraska State Historical Society, www.nebraskahistory.org/lib-arch/research/library/newspaper.....

You can look through the obituary file at www.rootswb.ancestry.com/~nepierce/obituary/.

You can do a Google search for Pierce County Nebraska Cemeteries and look through the inventoried cemeteries.
