I am looking for information regarding my great-grandmother Hilgen. Her maiden name was Albertina Manske. Her parents were Johann (John) and Wilhelmina Manske. Albertina married Henry Hilgen and they lived in Battlecreek, Nebraska. She was listed in the 1880 U.S. Census at the Nebraska Insane Asylum. She was listed again in the 1885 Nebraska Census back with Henry in Battle Creek. I do not have anymore information on her life with Henry except that in 1889 Henry Hilgen, a widower, moved to Pierce with his two children Mary and William.
