The only information I have on Henry HAUBENS is that he gave the information on my GGrandfather, Herman Christen HAUBENSAK's, death certificate in 1908 and that my mother visited him with her mother (Herman's daughter) in Omaha, in about 1932. My mother was 9 years old at the time and was under the impression Henry was her mother's uncle and that he was a bachelor who had a big lovely house.
My belief is that he is the brother of Herman Christen HAUBENSAK and droped the "ak" off of his name. Herman did live in Omaha for a time after he came over from Germany, then he moved to Fremont, Nebraska where he died in 1908.
Any information about either would be appreciated, but REALLY need information on Henry HAUBENS.
