Otto's father was a son of Fred Steinbrink who came to Mont. from Clifton City, Misssouri. His mother was Elizabeth Gehringer of same city. Their three boys were Otto, Fred Jr. and Paul. "They Gazed on the Beartooths" by Jim Annin tells of the Steinbrinks living in Stillwater County.
