Just to update Rita's 2000 post with 2011 info.

Calvin didn't serve in the Union Army. He was in the Missouri Militia. The EMM was on the Union side but they did not receive pensions, nor did their widows or minors.

He wasn't born 1832 in TN.

The 1900 census lists two GRANDchildren (orphans of Alexander Edmonds & Melissa Goss).

He is not the son of John Edmonds and Fanny Pratt from Jefferson County, Tennessee.
