Kincaid or Kincade of Marion Co., MO

Classification: Query
Surnames: Kincaid
For the Kincaid DNA project, I am trying to locate an obit and/or descendants of a George R. Kincaid who died in Palmyra, Marion Co., MO, in Sep 1993.

This date comes from the Social Security Death Index, and the day of the month is not given. Nor, of course, is the cemetery. I have no idea if this man left children, for my last glimpse of him is the 1930 census, at which time he was not even married.

George R. Kincaid was born 23 Feb 1909 and is the son of Marvin and Sarah Kincaid. There was an elder brother named Thomas B. Kincaid, but he apparently left Missouri and may have gone to Colorado and later California.

Can anyone suggest to me the easiest way to access an obit on George R. Kincaid of Palmyra?

Does anyone know anything of this family?

The Kincaid lineage stretches backwards to -
John F. Kincaid/Mary Randol of Marion Co., MO

Joseph Kincaid/Rhoda Baugh who came to Marion Co. in the 1830's from Madison Co., KY

John Kincaid/Jane Donaldson of Greenbrier Co. (now) WV, then Madison Co., KY, and finally Marion Co., MO

John Kincaid/Agness of Greenbrier Co., (now) WV, and Madison Co., KY.

This last John Kincaid goes backwards either to Augusta Co., VA, or to Albemarle Co., VA, in the 1750/1760 era, and that's what we need DNA to tell us.
