Tricia - I forgot to say that I do not have pictures of Mary. I do have one of Absolam with Josephine and their children and two of Absolam. I have a copy of his death certificate with a copy of a note from Mary which is signed with her mark, indicating that she could not write. She believed that he was born in 1868 rather than 1857 as the family bible says. Of course, he could not have been born in 1868 and fathered his son John at the age of 12 in 1868. The note was written for Mary by a Notary Public. Absolam's cause of death is shown to be Lobar Pneumonia. He died 17 June 1936 and was buried 19 June 1936. I will be happy to e-mail you the photos of Absolam as well as the death certificate if you like. Do you have photos of Absolam?
