He was indeed. I did not know her maiden name until I got your message. I surmised Mary had been married to a Davis by the names of the two children, Alice & Eva Davis, listed in their household in the 1910 census. The only thing my mother remembers about her "Grandma Mary" was that she smoked a pipe.
