I have just recently found this info because of an email address change and haven't had a chance to really review it all yet. The only thing I do know for sure is that Rudie Slaughter is Bettie Graves' son from a first marriage. Her second marriage to Alvis Graves is the one that puts her (and Rudie) in my lines. Alvis is my grandfather's cousin. Along with Rudie from her first marriage, Alvis and Bettie had 2 daughters - your Dorothy Graves Harris b: c1916 and Marianna b: c 1914. I have no further info on the Slaughter family. You may want to check out Theresa's post of 2/14/06 with the obit of Elizabeth Slaughter Neely - if you haven't already.
