Richard was born 7 Oct 1786 In North Carolina and died 1848-9 in Amite County. Nancy was born 7 May 1820 in either Wilkinson or Amite County. An 1816 Mississippi census puts him in Wilkinson but he was living in Amite County His wife was Margaret Holton Lansdown. They had eight children. Nancy was the third child and first daughter. She married Adam Winters III in 1839 in Amite County although one source said she was married in Wilkinson County. Nancy died on 29 Dec 1894 and is buried at Serpta Cemetery in Claiborne County. In the 1850 Federal census Margaret Lansdown Westrope was living in Wilkinson County with six of the children. I need to prove Nancy was Richard Westrope's daughter.
