Long time coming but the cemetery sits behind the White's chapel church. You turn down the gravel road next to the church. The cemetery is the Humphreys cem. My name is Gwen Humphreys Bell and my cousin Robert Revel from baton Rouge have been trying to keep it up. Yes John Phillip (Jehu) is supposed to be there along with his wife. There is no marker for them but my father who is now deceased told me that when he was a boy he remembered the graves over into the woods. His son my great grandfather Nathan Monroe is buried there along with my grandparents and other relatives. We have discover several sunken graves outside the fence in the woods but have no way of knowing who they are but can assume that they are Jehu and possibly his father Nathaniel who supposedly died here in Wilkinson co and this is where he would be buried.
