I just noticed Matilda J. Masengale, in the household of Henry Masengale in July 1970 was 9/12 years old making her birth in Oct or Nov 1869.
Mary Matilda J. Masengale who married George W. Young is listed on the 1900 census as being born Feb. 1874 Age 26 and 1910 as age 36.

Are there 2 different Mary Matilda Masengales? It seems unlikely that the 1870 census is wrong. Surely The wife of George wouldn't have her birth date off by 4 1/2 years
