This CORRECTION is a little late. But, better late than never.

I am a direct descendant of Nancy L. Ford and William (no other names) Wallace. They were married 30 Oct 1849. William was born ca 1828 in Lincoln Co. TN. His father was John Wallace of York Co. SC who brought his family to MS from Lincoln Co. TN. His mother was Malinda (unknown). John & Malinda are listed on the 1850 Itawamba Co. MS census with their entire issue sans William who is married to Nancy in 1849 and therefore, they are enumerated separately in their own household. The name used as a bench mark in this family back to York Co. SC is the name HUGH BERRY Wallace.

I have documents which clearly prove that my William Wallace and David W. P. Wallace are NOT the same person.
