Since the 1999 post I have found that Jesse D. Brown was b. in AL 1840 and killed in Civil war.
Son John J. Brown came to Carroll Co. bef 1889.
He married Roixe M. Carithers; dau of William H. Carithers and Clementine Carroll.
Clementine was the dau of Phillip Carroll and Pricilla Slaughter who were in Winona, Carroll Co., MS.
