Hello. I am seeking others who are also working on these surnames either in Renville or Sibley Co. My husband Tom Bethke (I have his permission) was brought up in Gibbon MN. His mother was Rose H Possin.His father Fred Bethke.Their parents and other sibs came over from the Posen area of Germany in the late 1800's. I am seeking particularly Rose Possins family of
Johann Possin (1860-1937) and Alvina Augusta Krause (1857-1934). Frederick's parents were Mary Tuenge (1878-1960) and Herman Frederick Bethke (1869-1944). I have most of what I need for them but that's where it stops. I have no info on Rose's grandparents or of her parents siblings. If anyone can help me I would be so grateful. Alvina's mother may have been a Blohm but I have no evidence of that except for that name which occurs on Alvina's death certificate. You may email me at oddrie@cox.net.
