$10,000 Suit Filed
Cornell Sanders filed suit in circuit court yesterday for the death of August Vermeersch as the outgrowth of an automobile accident, naming George Rogers as defendant. Vermeersch was crossing the street at Southwest Macadam Avenue and Nebraska Street on February 1 of this year when he was struck and fatally injured by an automobile driven by the defendant, according to the complaint.
